NARO Convention to Feature Earthquakes, Oklahoma History and Legislative Update

The 2017 OK NARO convention is set to begin in about a week in Norman.

Jay Freede with the Oklahoma chapter of the National Association of Royalty Owners said the event will begin with a social gathering Wednesday evening on April 19 at Devon Tower’s Vast Restaurant. But the rest of the events will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Norman.

Speakers on Thursday include Dr. Jeremy Boak, Director of the Oklahoma Geological Survey who will discuss earthquakes and their links to wastewater injection wells; retired OU Journalism school director Dr. David Dary; and a legislative update from Terry Stowers.

On Friday, Senator James Lankford and Rep. Tom Cole will be luncheon speakers. An afternoon expert legal panel will feature Terry Stowers, Timothy Dowd and George Wilson.
