Dallas-based Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. is hunting for customers of its Bakken pipeline in North Dakota including the newly-opened Dakota Access line.
Together with Energy Transfer crude Oil Company, LLC, the firms have launched a Binding Supplemental Open Season to solicit shipper commitments for transportation service for Bakken/Three Forks production.
Dakota Access and Energy Transfer Crude Oil Company are the entities responsible for developing, owning and operating the Bakken pipeline. The Open Season includes local tariff service on the Dakota Access line from the Bakken/Three Forks play to Patoka, Illinois. It also provides the opportunity for similar service from the same North Dakota play to Nederland, Texas.
The Dakota Access is the line targeted by thousands of protesters over the past several months.
