Pipeline Energy Expo to Begin Tuesday in Tulsa

The 9th annual Pipeline Energy Expo is set to begin Tuesday in Tulsa and nearly 1,000 pipeline professionals from around the world are expected on hand.

The Pennwell Corporation’s Pipeline Energy Expo, to be held April 4-6 will be at the Cox business Center. It will begin with a networking cocktail reception Tuesday evening and feature a CEO Roundtable moderated by Oil and Gas Journal’s Chief Editor Bob Tippee. Those on the roundtable include Bob McGrew, CEO of T.D. Williamson; Mike Mears, CEO of Magellan Midstream Partners; Staci Taruscio, CEO at Rebellion Energy; and Ed Wiegele, SVP and Oil and Gas Sector Director at TRC.

The Wednesday morning keynote session will feature Mark Wilmoth, CEO at PennWell Corporation; Bob Tippee of Oil and Gas Journal; and Chad Warmington, President of the Oklahoma Oil and Gas Association. Headlining the Keynote session will be Corey Goulet, SVP of Natural Gas Pipeline Major Projects of TransCanada. He’s in charge of TransCanada’s portfolio of natural gas pipeline projects including Columbia growth, Mexico and LNG Project. Goulet served as the president of Keystone pipeline projects from 2012-2015.

In the remaining days, there will be panel discussions and sessions on regulatory, environmental and safety issues, the nation’s capacity after the bust, construction issues and the implications of some pipeline mishaps. There will also be panel discussions and presentations on technology, cybersecurity, integrity and efficiencies and UAV technologies.

On-Site Registration will open on Monday, April 3 at 3:00 p.m. and will close on Thursday, April 6 at 3:30 p.m. Visitors can network on the exhibition floor for $35 and attend the conference for $395 (lunch and professional development hours provided).
