The open season is underway for Enable Midstream Partners, LP as its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Enable Gas Transmission LLC and Enable Oklahoma Intrastate Transmission are seeking commitments to system expansion projects.

The firms are looking for customers who want gas moved out of the growing Anadarko Basin production. The open season officially kicked off March 8 and ends on March 28.

The Enable companies are offering transportation service from the prolific Cana, STACK and SCOOP plays of the Anadarko Basin to premium Southeast and Western natural gas markets.

Enable executives confirm one of the projects has already secured a foundation shipper who has committed to a long-term contract.

“The open seasons released today are the result of continued conversations with our customers to understand their needs and provide creative solutions,” said Chris Ditzel, vice president – Transportation and Storage. “We are delighted to have successfully executed a precedent agreement with a prominent midcontinent producer, and we look forward to potentially increasing the size of our projects with additional capacity subscriptions.”
