New Clean Power Plan Coming?

Updating the fight against the Obama Clean Power Plan by Oklahoma and other states, the D.C. Circuit court suggested it might be a few more weeks before it rules on the lawsuits.

Ten judges are hearing the case and they set a March 20 deadline for briefs to be filed in a secondary dispute over whether to consolidate it with a separate lawsuit.

Critics of the EPA are still awaiting word from President Trump this week whether to expand efforts to pull back the Obama administration regulations addressing climate change.  Trump supporters believe the President will sign an executive order telling the EPA to rewrite its Clean Power Plan and to withdraw the 2015 moratorium on new coal leases on federal lands.
