Inhofe’s Appointments in Senate Environment and Public Works Committee

The Republican and Democratic leaders of the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee have finalized and announced the membership of the committee’s four subcommittees.

Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe, former chairman of the full committee was named chairman of the Transportation and Infrastructure subcommittee. He also sits on the Clean Air and Nuclear Safety subcommittee along with the Fisheries, Water and Wildlife subcommittee.

The appointments were made by the committee chairman John Barrasso, R-Wyoming and the ranking Democrat Sen. Tom Carper of Delaware.
