Another Big Newfield Exploration Well in Kingfisher County

Oklahoma’s STACK has yielded another sizable oil well for Newfield Exploration Mid-con Inc., a well producing more than 1,000 barrels a day.

As completion reports shown by OK Energy Today indicate, the Apache well located about 4 miles southeast of Kingfisher was drilled and completed last year. The filing of the report by the Houston, Texas based Newfield company showed a spud date last August. Drilling was finished in September and the completion was made in November 2016.

The well is pulling 1,017 barrels of oil along with 2,640 Mcf of gas out of the Mississippian zone.

While not on the level of a thousand barrels a day, other new wells are reported in Kingfisher County by Oklahoma energy Acquisitions LP. The company reported completion of four new wells ranging in daily production of 256 barrels up to 449 barrels.

The STACK also saw a Canadian County well produced by Devon Energy with daily production of 375 barrels of oil.
