Pruitt Practices for Confirmation Hearing

Ever since he was nominated to become the chief of the Environmental Protection Agency, Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt’s not made many public comments. He’s met with Senators on Capitol Hill as he prepares for Wednesday’s confirmation hearing to be held by the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.

Environmentalists and some Democratic Senators are against his nomination, especially because he’s sued the agency over the past several years. Pruitt has challenged what he continued to stress was the “overreach” of the agency in creating new rules and regulations without the approval of Congress.

News 9’s Grant Hermes reported that Pruitt reportedly went through practice interviews in preparation from what could be contentious questioning by Democratic Senators.
