Big Gas Wells Hit in Blaine and Grady Counties

Oklahoma’s STACK has produced a big gas well in Blaine County, one producing more than 12,000 Mcf of natural gas according to the latest completion reports at OK Energy Today.

Marathon Oil, based in Houston hit the Donna Dudley well several miles northwest of Geary and had a spud date of July 4 while drilling was finished August 10 and completion was made by Sept. 7. The well produced 245 barrels of oil a day but also 12,232 Mcf of natural gas.

Vitruvian II Woodford LLC of Houston reported three wells at the same location in Grady County, each producing 10,433 Mcf of gas and 160 barrels of oil daily. The Burnside wells are located southwest of Lindsay. Their spud dates were in November of last year with drilling finished in March of 2016 and completion made March 23.
