As we approach the end of 2016 as well as the Obama administration, many wonder what 2017 and a Donald Trump administration will mean for the environment and the laws in place to protect it.

Of course there is anxiety among some over Trump’s vow to kill the Obama administration’s Clean Power Plan, the one challenged by Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt and dozens of other attorneys general.

“I know there is a lot of anxiety these days, but I am very hopeful for a few reasons,” said Gina McCarthy, the soon-to-be  departing EPA Administrator was quoted as saying in an article by E and E News. “We have done our job and the environmental enterprise is more inclusive and more effective than ever. We’ve energized the American people, who will demand not only clean air and clean water for their children, they will demand a stable planet.”
