Whether Gov. Mary Fallin is named to Donald Trump’s cabinet is up to Donald Trump.
But after Trump met Monday with Gov. Fallin on Monday in New York, his staff issued a release about the meetings he held with Fallin with several others.
“The President-elect then met with Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin and engaged in a conversation surrounding Native American affairs,” read the announcement. “The two also touched on critical issues around increasing energy independence including alternatives for energy consumption.”
There’s still speculation she is being vetted for Interior Secretary, a position that will deal with America’s Native American tribes and the oil and gas operations on federal lands.
