Pruitt up for Consideration as EPA Head?

There is more indication that Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt was interviewed by Donald Trump this week not for a position in the Justice Department but as a possible head of the Environmental Protection Agency.

He met with Trump on Monday in New York City, as did former Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Chairwoman Kathleen Hartnett White. She too is being considered as the person to run the EPA. Afterward, Hartnett White said she had a “positive exchange of views on energy and economic growth” with the President-elect.

Neither Pruitt nor Hartnett White was offered the job but Politico reports Harnett White is considered to be the leading candidate for the job.
