While Oklahoma Natural Gas was ordered recently by the State Corporation Commission to carry out a system-wide review of its pipelines following a Jan. 2 explosion in Oklahoma City, the company is refusing to disclose the locations of problem areas.

ONG has reportedly identified more than 200 such sections of potentially dangerous pipeline according to The Oklahoman. But the company will not release the list of those problem sites to the newspaper, citing security reasons.

“For security reasons, we do not disclose specifics regarding our gas pipe infrastructure,” said ONG spokeswoman Cherokee Ballard in an email to The Oklahoman.

The review of the company’s pipeline system in the state was part of a $1.01 million settlement reached with the Corporation Commission. The company has already settled claims with more than 60 homeowners involved in the explosion in the Walnut Creek subdivision in Oklahoma City.
