Marathon Oil’s brought in another big oil producer in Oklahoma’s STACK, reporting a more than 1,100 barrel-a-day well in Kingfisher county.

The Firestone well is so close to the city of Kingfisher, it might be within the city limits on the city’s western side. The well, producing 1,105 barrels a day along with 4,488 Mcf of gas is located immediately west of the city and north of highway 33. It sits between the Kingfisher city cemetery and the city limits and had a spud date of July 11. It took only eleven days for drilling to be finished on July 22 with completion finally made on Oct. 23.

Details are in the Thursday completion reports published by OK Energy Today.

Earlier this week, as OK Energy Today reported, the Houston-based Marathon Oil had three other big hits, the largest being one that produced 2,070 barrels a day. Two others had production of nearly 1,600 barrels a day.
