Crude Oil Futures Slip on Thursday

Oil futures settled lower on Thursday for the first time in four sessions on the eve of Veterans’ Day, according to Bloomberg MarketWatch.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, December West Texas Intermediate crude fell 61 cents, or 1.4% to settle at $44.66 a barrel after rallying in each of the last three sessions.

On the London ICE Futures Exchange, January Brent crude, the global benchmark, fell 52 cents, or 1.1%, to end trading at $45.84 a barrel.

Meanwhile, December natural gas fell 5.8 cents, or 2.2%, to settle at $2.632 per million British thermal units on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Markets will be closed on Friday due to the federal holiday.
