Tulsa-based Citizen Energy has had some success in Grady and Canadian counties, hitting at least two wells that produced more than 1,100 barrels of oil equivalent a day. They were not eye-popping producers like some of the 2,000-barrel-a-day-plus wells reported in some parts of the STACK but are still sizeable producers.

One well, the Rosemary near Tuttle produced 1,335 barrels a day along with 3,562 Mcf of gas. The company had a January 11 spud date and drilling was finished on March 26. Completion was reported April 11. A second Rosemary well at the site produced 1,123 barrels a day along with 2,086 Mcf of gas. Its spud date was January 13 and drilling finished on March 10 followed by completion on April 21. Both wells are located a mile east of Tuttle.

Citizen Energy also had an 800-barrel a day well in Canadian County. The Rikella was drilled 3 miles south of Mustang and west of state highway 4.

The wells are listed on OK Energy Today’s completion reports.
