Latest Big Wells Discovered in STACK by Newfield Exploration

Houston, Texas based Newfield Exploration continues with its discoveries of major oil producing wells in Oklahoma’s STACK, the massive oil play located in Canadian, Blaine and Kingfisher counties.

As show on OK Energy Today’s Completion Reports, Newfield’s biggest find in recent weeks was a well producing 1,229 barrels of oil a day at a site three miles southwest of the town of Cashion. The Ruhl well had a spud date of March 3 and drilling was finished May 23 following by completion on July 12. It also had gas production of 2,931 Mcfs.

Newfield also found a 1,054 barrel a day well 4 miles northwest of Kingfisher. Its gas production totaled 1,990 Mcfs. The Harrison well had a spud date of March 23 while drilling finished on April 27 and completion occurred July 1.

Newfield also reported success, albeit small production with two other wells in Kingfisher county and one in McClain county.
