Callidus Technologies Cuts 10% of Workforce at Tulsa Headquarters

Callidus

Honeywell subsidiary, Callidus Technologies LLC, announced it is eliminating 30 positions at its south Tulsa headquarters, according to a Tulsa World report.

The layoffs are a result of volatility in oil prices coupled with sluggish market conditions, according to a statement issued by company officials on Tuesday.

“Today we announced to our employees that we are reducing our local workforce by about 30 people — or less than 10 percent — as a result of slowing industry conditions,” said Neil Eckersley, Callidus Vice President and General Manager.

Founded in 1989, Callidus employs approximately 300 people globally. The company also has a manufacturing facility in Beggs, which was not affected by the layoffs.

Callidus specializes in thermal combustion products for the oil and gas industry. The company manufactures and sells custom designed and fabricated burners, flares, gas/liquid incinerators and vapor combustion units which are used for the safe and efficient disposal of waste gas.
