Another lawsuit has been filed by Duncan residents alleging Halliburton Energy Services polluted their property through an old missile and rocket fuel removal, disposal and open burning operation years ago.

More than 100 residents filed suit this week in Oklahoma City federal court (CV-00910-M) claiming the operation left their property damaged. Another suit against Halliburton was filed earlier this year as reported by OK Energy Today. They were the latest in a series of lawsuit filed by residents against the energy company.

The suits stem from the missile motor cleaning operation that Halliburton maintained for the U.S. Defense Department from the mid 1960s until 1991. Residents maintain that the groundwater in Duncan has been left contaminated by the operation.
