One of Chesapeake’s latest oil wells is a 684 barrel-a-day well close to the Kingfisher County town of Dover.
The completion report, as published by OK Energy Today, shows the MUEGGENBORG well is only a mile southeast of Dover. It was also a fast-moving operation since Chesapeake Operating LLC had a May 4 spud date and drilling was finished eleven days later with completion listed as May 29, 2016.
The report showed 684 barrels a day of oil production out of the Oswego formation along with 542 mcf of gas.
