CSI Compressco Taps Derek Coffie as New CFO

Derek Coffie was recently named as the Chief Financial Officer for CSI Compressco LP, according to a company press release issued on Monday.

Coffie has over 35 years of financial experience working in agribusiness, manufacturing and land-based diesel engine services. Prior to joining CSI Compressco, Coffie served as Vice President of Finance and Controller for United Holdings, a subsidiary of Kirby Corporation. Coffie has also held similar positions for Lennox International’s Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration Division and Johnson Outdoors. Coffie began his career at Monsanto where he held various financial and management roles with increasing responsibility during his 16-year tenure.

Coffie earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Tennessee State University and an MBA from Washington University’s Olin School of Business.

Coffie succeeds Elijio Serrano, who has served as the interim CFO since August. Serrano will continue as Senior Vice President and CFO of TETRA Technologies, Inc., the parent company of CSI Compressco.

A provider of compression services and equipment for oil and natural gas production, Houston-based CSI Compressco also has a presence in Oklahoma City.
