“BizJet’s work turned out to be disastrous.” Claim in lawsuit.
Tulsa-based BizJet finds itself on the wrong end of a lawsuit filed by a Florida company accusing it of providing “grossly negligent servicing” of the firm’s Gulstream jet.
The firm named Moon, Sun and Stars Inc. and its parent company Monsoon Inc. filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida over maintenance to its Gulfstream G450. The plane, registered as N704JW and manufactured in 2004 underwent a mid-life inspection of its engine.
But the suit claims BizJet “intentionally and significantly over-stated its capabilities and equipment, misstated the costs and said whatever was necessary’,” according to a report in the Tulsa World.
