PSO Honored by EPA for Energy Efficiency Programs

Tulsa-based Public Service Company of Oklahoma has been named a 2016 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year by the Environmental Protection Agency. The Energy Efficiency Program Delivery Award is for the company’s efforts to increase the adoption of energy-efficient products and was presented in Washington D.C. this week. PSO has been an ENERGY STAR partner since 2008 and was honored for its support of Home Performance with ENERGY STAR.

“Public Service Company of Oklahoma values our partnership with ENERGY STAR,” said Jeff Brown, Energy Efficiency and Consumer Programs Manager for PSO. “It’s exciting to see the impact we’ve made through our efforts to help customers save both energy and money, while also helping protect our environment.”

PSO completed 3,055 Home Performance projects in 2015.

The EPA program has 16,000 partners working to protect the environment through energy efficiency, inclucing manufacturers, retailers, public schools, hospitals, real estate companies and home builders.
