A high-wind warning is out for western Oklahoma today as the National Weather Service says some winds could top 55 miles an hour in the northwestern part of the state. Winds will be sustained at 20 mph or more throughout the day. Combined with dry conditions, it has also created a high fire danger for much of the state.
