State-Sponsored Job Fair Set for Friday in OKC

No doubt that many of the thousands put out of work in Oklahoma’s energy downturn will be at the upcoming job fair sponsored by the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission.

It will be held Friday, March 25 at the Chevy Bricktown Event center in downtown Oklahoma City from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

More than 100 employers representing hundreds of employment opportunities will be on hand. Nearly 1,000 job seekers attended the OESC job fair held last fall.

It will be the 39th OESC Semi-Annual spring Job Fair and will be open to the public. Job seekers are asked to dress professionally, bring copies of their resumes and be prepared to meet face-to-face with company recruiters. Computers with online access will also be provided so attendees can submit electronic applications and get resume help.

Parking for the event is free.
