Faced with huge financial problems and challenges, SandRidge Energy has finally announced a date to release its 2015 fourth quarter and full-year financial results.
The Oklahoma City-based energy company says the results will be release after the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday, March 29.
It did not indicate that a conference call would be made as well. No other information about the quarterly results was released by the company.
SandRidge has been working with financial experts to avoid bankruptcy. In early February, the company confirmed it decided to lay off hundreds of employees in Oklahoma City. The headquarters workforce was sheared from 548 to 376. The company’s total workforce went from 1,157 to 717 employees.
“Today was difficult,” said David Kimmel, director communications from SandRidge Energy at the time. “We are grateful for the contributions of our colleagues and friends and we are dedicated to assisting each affected individual through this transition.”
In January, Lariat Services, a subsidiary of SandRidge laid off 226 of its 260 employees in the northwestern Oklahoma area around Alva and Cherokee.
