Oil and Gas Conference Approaches in Tulsa

While some oil and gas companies are struggling to stay afloat in Oklahoma amidst the energy downturn, others are pushing ahead with operations. Many will be on hand in a few weeks at the 2016 Mid-Continent Digital Oilfield Conference in Tulsa.

On hand will be those presenting the latest oil and natural gas technological advancements to help producers improve operational efficiencies. At a time when prices are low, companies are seeking more ways to cut costs and if technology can help, they’ll apply it.

The expected top sessions at the MCDOC 2016 include an Oil and Gas Regulatory Exchange Panel. Another will be on Induced Seismicity and will be presented by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission. FracFocus 3.0 is another and will be presented by the Interstate Oil and Gas Commisson and Ground Water Protection Council. Other sessions will focus on Automation and Drone Track showcasing how drones are impacting oil and natural gas exploration and production.

The conference will be held Feb. 17 and 18 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Tulsa.
