Love’s Travel Shops Expands CNG Network

Love’s Travel Stops is making a move to more than double its public access CNG locations by agreeing to purchase Trillium CNG. Love’s network of CNG filling locations will grow to 65 locations nationwide once Trillium’s 37 stations are added to the mix.

“The acquisition of Trillium CNG provides Love’s with a great opportunity to leverage the very best of two companies,” said Love’s co-Chief Executive Officer Frank Love. “Trillium’s established network of CNG locations and its deep expertise within the industry will also allow Love’s to serve new types of customers in new markets while expanding reach to existing customers.”

Trillium CNG currently delivers more than 55 million gallons of CNG per year.

The acquisition also allows Love’s to expand the types of fleets its serves. Love’s will begin working with Trillium’s client base which includes transit authorities, school districts, airport fleets, and the general public.

“Many of our customers, including fleets and motorists, appreciate stable pricing that CNG offers, so we’ve remained committed to developing our CNG network,” said Love. “We also understand the demand for cleaner-burning fuels remains steady, and we want to provide more options for our customers.”

Love’s existing fleet customers will have the option to fill with CNG at any of the Trillium locations.
