Gas Prices Creeping Back Up in Oklahoma

Gasoline prices are creeping back up in Oklahoma, reaching a statewide average of $1.50 a gallon, according to a check of the population gasoline website, GasBuddy.com.

The site says the $1.50 average compares to the $1.41 one week ago in the state. It also found the cheapest gasoline in Oklahoma was in Fairview and Canton in the northwest where gasoline was pumped for $1.27 a gallon. Gasoline for $1.28 was also sold at some locations in Tulsa. Stations in Locust Grove pumped it $1.29 a gallon.

Oklahoma City has an average of $1.50 a gallon, a nine cent jump in the past week. But the cheapest gasoline in the city was $1.29 a gallon.

The average in Tulsa is $1.46 per gallon, a dime increase over the past week. The cheapest price was $1.28 a gallon per regular.

The State’s $1.50 average compares to the national average of $1.71 a gallon.
