Snow is in the forecast this weekend for northwest Oklahoma.
But as State Climatologist Gary McManus indicated in his Friday Mesonet Ticker report, “This doesn’t appear to be a storm that will have a significant impact, but an impact nevertheless with some snow amounts in the 3-4 inch range. Most places will get less than an inch it would appear, however.”
As of Friday morning, the National Weather Service had issued a winter weather advisory for the Panhandle.
“I’m gonna go ahead and put the BRAUM’s EMERGENCY BREAD AND MILK DEF-CON level to THREE for the Panhandle and far NW Ok, as well as far NE OK for late Friday night into Saturday,” added McManus in his typical humor.
