Environment Committee to Consider Markups

Here is what members of the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee members will be working on this week. Senator Jim Inhofe is chairman of the committee that will meet Wednesday to consider the Bipartisan Sporstmen’s Act of 2015 or S. 659.

Another measure to be considered for markup is S. 1024, the Great Lakes Restoration Act of 2015. Another item on the agenda is S. 1674, the Long Island Sound Restoration and Stewardship Act.

There is also S. 1724, the Lake Tahoe Restoration Act of 2015 and s. 2143, a bill to provide for the authority for the successors of the Starr-Camargo Bridge company to maintain and operate a toll bridge across the Rio Grande near Rio Grande City, Texas. The committee also plans to consider markup of S. 2396, a bill designating the Federal building and U.S. Courthouse in Gainesville, Georgia as the “Sidney Olsin Smith, Jr. Federal Building and United States Courthouse.”
