Enable Midstream Partners Fills CFO Spot from Within

Enable Midstream Partners turns to one of its own to fill the empty Chief Financial Officer position. The Board of Directors announced Monday it had named John Laws as Executive Vice President, CFO, and Treasurer. Laws has worked for Enable since 2010. He most recently served as Treasurer.

“I’m very pleased to announce John’s elevation to this new role. He is an accomplished senior financial executive with a wealth of energy industry experience,” Enable Midstream Partners President and Chief Financial Officer Rod Sailor said. Sailor vacated the CFO seat when he took over the reins on January 1, 2016. “John brings a deep understanding of operations and transactions, public offerings, business combinations and strategic business planning to the role of CFO. I look forward to his insight and contributions. We also benefit from John’s tenure with Enable, as well as a strong working relationship with each of our general partners.”

Laws has been a financial executive for 17 years, more than half in the energy sector.

“I’m humbled and honored to have been selected to fill this vital leadership role at Enable,” said Laws. “Enable is well-positioned to persevere in the current environment and to build on its prior success through continued focus on customer service and operational and financial excellence.”
