Representative Richard Morrissette (D-OKC) won’t be the only legislator holding a town hall meeting this week regarding the earthquake challenge and its ties to the state’s oil and gas industry.
Rep. Lewis Moore, (R-Edmond) will hold a townhall meeting Thursday featuring Jeremy Boak, director of the Oklahoma Geological Survey.
Dr. Boak will be the primary speaker along with Mike Means of the Oklahoma Homebuilders Association as well as representatives of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers..
Edmond State Rep. Randy Grau will also be at the event.
The meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. in Ballroom A and B at the Nigh Center on the campus of the University of Central Oklahoma. Rep. Richard Morrissette will hold a day-long hearing at the capitol on Friday to hear from experts and citizens.
